My counselling experience is expansive including offering long term counselling, short term counselling.CBT, Solution Focused Counselling, Integrative counselling. Settings I have offered counselling in include a university; within two London hospitals; bereavement counselling for a well know bereavement charity;short term counselling over several years for a well known mental health service
I bring eleven years experience in the field of smoking cessation as a stop smoking counsellor so understand and am skilled in offering support to people wanting to move towards more healthy ways of living/breaking free from addictive behaviours in other areas. into more healthy, productive ways of living that they are chosing. Supporting people in sustaining the changes they make.
I have worked as a counsellor for an employee assistance program for many years, offering telephone support
